Kioo
The locked-down work station, on any device.
Kioo is a cross-platform browser kiosk — Windows, Android, iOS/iPadOS — built to run web-based management software exactly the way it should: full screen, distraction-free, with no way for the user to leave the application. It’s made for real work stations: tills, counters, warehouses, terminals shared by several people across a shift.
A keyboard that never breaks the page
At the heart of Kioo is a built-in virtual keyboard that opens as an overlay in place of the system one: it never resizes the page underneath, never shifts fields around, never wrecks the layout. If a field ends up covered by the keyboard, the page scrolls just enough to keep it visible. Layouts switch automatically based on the selected field — QWERTY with direct accented letters, a numeric keypad for quantities, a decimal one for prices, an @ variant for email and web addresses — so whoever is working the till or the counter never has to hunt for the right key. Enter submits the form, Tab moves to the next field, and the keyboard’s opacity is adjustable so you can see the data underneath while typing. The typing events it generates are real ones: even web management software with autopostback works without changes, including grids that reload when a value is selected.
Four ways to navigate, one for every station
Every station is different, and Kioo adapts: a classic top bar with Home and Reload, an always-visible floating Back button, a hidden button that appears with a swipe from the edge, or gesture-only navigation for the cleanest possible screen. Zoom goes from 25% to 400% via a slide-out side slider and it’s persistent: it’s reapplied automatically on every page, so the operator sets it once.
Locked down where it matters, comfortable where it counts
Settings are protected by a programmable PIN: operators stay on the company application and can’t turn the terminal into a generic tablet. A session keep-alive keeps the connection to the management software alive even during quiet hours, with a configurable interval: no sudden logouts forcing a full restart mid-service. On first launch a guided setup takes you straight to the management software’s address, no on-site technical support needed; on desktop, if a physical keyboard is present, the virtual one can be switched off while keeping every kiosk protection. The interface speaks 7 languages — Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, Chinese and Russian — with automatic system-language detection.
